This is such an interesting topic! The way I've used my online journal has changed a lot since I started it back in 2002. Learning to write something that is open to a select audience in a way that isn't too boring but doesn't veer into TMI territory either has been a journey. I doubt I've totally figured out how not to be boring, but I've always been careful with the TMI stuff.

I guess sometimes it is the TMI stuff that makes things interesting. But it's completely possible to write in an interesting way without oversharing or stirring the pot.
